  Job Title: Agricultural Economist, Agricultural Salesperson, and Agronomist

  Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Agricultural Economist, Agricultural Salesperson, and Agronomist with a PhD in Agriculture or a related field to join our team. As an Agricultural Economist, Agricultural Salesperson, and Agronomist, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and business acumen to drive sales growth and optimize crop production.

  Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Provide technical expertise and agronomic advice to customers to optimize crop production and yield.
  • Conduct economic analysis of agricultural markets, pricing, and supply chains to inform sales strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute sales strategies and meet revenue targets.
  • Attend industry events and conferences to promote our products and services.
  • Conduct field trials and demonstrations to showcase product efficacy.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in agriculture research and economics.
  • Provide product training and support to customers and internal teams.
  • Work closely with research and development teams to provide customer feedback and inform product development.

  Requirements:
  • PhD in Agriculture, Agricultural Economics, Agronomy, Horticulture, Plant Science, or related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in agricultural sales, agronomy, and/or agricultural economics.
  • Strong understanding of crop production, soil science, and plant nutrition.
  • Experience in economic analysis of agricultural markets, pricing, and supply chains.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in technical tools such as GIS, crop modeling software, and data analysis software.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
